Caraguatatuba (SP)

Caraguatatuba can be considered one of Brazil coastlines most beautiful cities thanks to its natural beauties. In addition to the beaches, Caraguá has a really well developed commercial center, with many shopping varieties. Its malls, the Calçadão Santa Cruz and its stores provide pleasurable tours to the visitors.

The tourist can visit the biggest São Paulo Mussel Farm, which is located in Cocanha beach. The activities are developed by local fisherpeople, who produce around 8 thousand tons every year. It is possible for the tourist to make boat rides in order to know the cultivations.

Another tour option is the Anteater Island, which is the biggest Caraguá island and its access is made through boats that leave Mococa, Cocanha and Tabatinga beaches. The island delights us by its untouched nature and it is listed as an excellent spot for diving. The visitor must collect all garbage produced by themselves in order to preserve this true ecological paradise.

In addition to Cocanha Islet you have ecological and adventurous tours that can be made in front to Cocanha beach. On boat, kayak or speedboat a ride through this wonderful resort is definitely worthwhile.
